Role: Server Test technician Type: Contract ( 6 months initially ) Location: West Dublin Rate: €32,000 per annum( 25% allowance ) Shifts: Friday - Sunday OR Saturday - Monday Timings : 6:30 am - 6:30 pm OR 6:45 am - 6:45 pm (12-hour shifts every day)
We are looking to add to our site team where you will work closely with the testing team in de-bugging servers. You will assess the servers that failed the initial testing and assess them and find solutions before putting the server back on the assembly line for more testing.
We are looking for skilled PC or Hardware enthusiasts who know their PCs and/or servers. You should have the ability to take apart a PC and put it back together andknow what each component does.
Responsibilities:
Completes routine maintenance of the OSV’s
Analyzes failure data using IFactory/Stack test dashboard of failed units and participates in testing of failed components using provided AWS Debug scripts and provided testers.
Works towards accurately identifying failed components using supplied hardware and software diagnostic scripts along with an ability to perform visual inspections
Follows Troubleshooting guides (highlights and communicates correction of any inaccuracies), and escalates issues in a timely manner to Senior debug technicians
Capable of analysing and identifying components for re-work disposition.
Capable of validating debug diagnoses, post rework, by using debug validation script.
Ideally, you will have a CompTIA Network + qualification (or any relevant qualification) and 6 months data centre experience.
