GemPool is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices, for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Smart-PV and Energy Storage solutions within a dynamic, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote and on-site service delivery for Smart-PV and Energy Storage solutions.
Offer pre-sales and post-sales support, including testing, workshops, and technical training.
Support sales teams and assist with bidding activities and technical issue resolution.
Supervise engineering processes, from kick-off meetings to final acceptance testing.
Conduct site surveys, installation training, and commissioning when required.
Troubleshoot technical issues independently or in collaboration with engineering partners.
Provide hotline support and escalation assistance for critical problems.
Monitor and improve on-site operation quality through continuous analysis and feedback.
Requirements:
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Energy, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in the Solar-PV and/or Energy Storage market is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
