We are seeking an experienced Solutions Manager to join a leading technology provider in the data centre industry. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in data centre infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering advanced data centre solutions that align with business objectives and client requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Design: Lead the creation of tailored, innovative data centre solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between key stakeholders, including EPCs, CFCIs, clients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment on solution requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Engage with these stakeholders early in the procurement cycle.
Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of solution deployments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to internal teams, ensuring best practices and cutting-edge solutions are implemented.
Business Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with business development and sales teams to align solution offerings with client needs and company objectives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project execution.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their long-term strategic goals and positioning the company as a trusted partner in their digital transformation journey.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis: Work with HQ and European product specialists to optimize airflow and cooling system design.
RFIs, RFQs & Business Case Development: Support the preparation and submission of RFIs, RFQs, and develop compelling business cases.
Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE): Optimize PUE ratios to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
UPS & Battery Solutions: Understand UPS platforms, including Li-ion battery integration, ensuring power reliability and energy efficiency.
Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis: Continuously assess market trends and competitor solutions to highlight key differentiators.
Pre-sales Engineering Support: Work closely with product teams to validate technical specifications and ensure solutions meet client requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in solution offerings.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in solution management, project management, or technical leadership within the data centre or IT infrastructure industry.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Experience in cloud computing, virtualization, CFD analysis, PUE optimization, and UPS solutions with Li-ion batteries is desirable.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive collaboration.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
