Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin (Full-time onsite for the first two months, transitioning to 50/50 hybrid)
Salary: €100,000 per annum
Reports to: Managing Director

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 10+ years of experience in construction cost management, procurement, and contract negotiation, particularly in Mechanical and Structural Engineering projects. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage project costs, drive procurement, and ensure the financial success of ongoing and future projects.

This is a leadership role in a small but dynamic team of five, including senior and junior project managers. The role requires a full-time onsite presence at our client’s  Fitzwilliam Square office for the first two months, transitioning to a 50/50 hybrid model thereafter.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze the financial impacts of project changes.
• Lead procurement, negotiate supplier and subcontractor contracts, and secure cost-effective resources.
• Track project progress, manage cost variations, and maintain documentation of changes.
• Work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Around 10 years in Quantity Surveying, with expertise in cost control, pricing, and contracts.
• Proven experience in Mechanical and Structural Engineering projects and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency in construction project management tools and financial tracking systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
