GemPool is currently looking for a Data Architect to join one of their client’s teams.
The role would be suited to either a BI architect with strong data engineering skills or a data engineer with architectural experience.

PLEASEN NOTE: This role is for candidate that are based in Ireland only. Candidates must hold a stamp 4 or be an EU citizen.
Contract Length: 6 months
Remote in Ireland with some requirements on-site in Dublin city centre.
Responsibilities:
Data ownership - Data Mart Ownership: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data marts in Power BI to ensure data is organized, accessible, and optimized for reporting and analysis.
Data Governance & Risk Ownership: Establish and enforce data governance standards and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the organization
Power BI Ownership: Manage the Power BI environment, including workspace governance and performance optimization for reports and datasets/dataflows, working with data engineer in the data warehouse
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI architecture, data engineering, or a related owner role (other than report developer).
Track record of efficiently setting up data marts for reuse & leading other report developers.
