We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Networking Cabling Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling infrastructure. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of networking principles and be proficient in implementing structured cabling solutions.

Responsibilities:
Cabling Installation:
Install, terminate, and test network cabling, including copper and fibre optics.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cabling infrastructure.
Network Infrastructure Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on existing cabling systems to ensure optimal performance.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to network cabling and infrastructure.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network cabling layouts, configurations, and changes.
Create as-built documentation for completed cabling projects.
Collaboration:
Work closely with network engineers and other IT professionals to implement and support networking solutions.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet specific cabling requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct testing and validation of installed cabling systems to ensure compliance with performance standards.
Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and integrity of the network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Education:
IT Networking Related degree
Relevant certifications in cabling or networking (e.g., BICSI RCDD, CompTIA Network+).
Experience:
Proven experience as a Networking Cabling Technician or similar role.
Hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of network cabling systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in the installation and termination of copper and fibre optic cabling.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for structured cabling.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving:
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues.
