Given the multitude of roles and the substantial talent required to sustain operations, we've witnessed significant success among computer hardware enthusiasts. Those with qualifications like CompTIA A+, combined with the right attitude and enthusiasm for data center work, tend to make remarkable progress early in their careers.

From there, there is no limit to where you may direct and drive your career, with a number of different technician levels there is always room to grow once you are focused and continuing to upskill and focus on what skills and certificates are in demand.

The career path for entry-level Data Centre Technicians typically involves progressive steps that allow individuals to gain experience, develop technical skills, and take on more responsibilities. Here's a general outline of a typical career path:

 

Data Centre Technician – L1

Skills Developed:

Data Centre Technician – L2

Skills Developed:
